Overview
Use the Land Transformation Model to understand what the land cover will look like in your community in the future under three different land use scenarios: business as usual, rapid urban expansion, and biofuels expansion. The model uses past trends of land use change to predict future land use cover types.
Features
- Project land uses in 2020, 2030, 2040, and 2050 based on patterns of land use change
- Compare current and future land cover types in your watershed
- Save and print maps and data for planning and decision making
